Minister receives stayed jail term for shooting granddaughter

Even while admitting his actions Dec. 10, 2012, were "stupid," Stanley Wilkinson took exception to the reported facts of the night he shot his granddaughter.

The 61-year-old Rochester man was sentenced Monday in Olmsted County District Court to 91 days in jail, to be stayed for two years. He was also ordered to serve 100 hours of community work service, among other conditions.
