A 7-year-old boy whose disappearance Sunday afternoon triggered a public alert was found playing video games at Walmart.

The boy had been at the store in north Rochester earlier in the day and said he wanted a video game, according to police Capt. Brian Winters. About 2 p.m., the boy said he was going outside to ride his bike, and his mother reported him missing about an hour later, Winters said.
