A Rochester attorney has announced plans to run for the Minnesota House seat being vacated by retiring GOP Rep. Mike Benson.
Democrat Richard Wright, 45, will be seeking his party's endorsement tonight for the House District 26B seat. He said his work and volunteer experience make him an ideal candidate for the seat. He is now chairman of the Rochester Montessori School Board of Directors and serves on the Rochester Convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors. He also has spent his career advocating for people in the courtroom.
