Hospitals restrict visitors

Area hospitals are beginning to restricts visits to protect patients from pandemic influenza.
"Effective immediately visitors to inpatients will be limited to immediate family members over the age of 16," Austin Medical Center announced Friday.
Olmsted Medical Center wants visits limited voluntarily, but plans restrictions at labor-and-delivery. Mayo Clinic did not limit as of Friday, but a news release is expected.
