Rybak e-mailed supporters Thursday saying he filed the paperwork with state regulators. The e-mail includes a campaign logo the says "R.T. Rybak Governor."

Rybak says filing the paperwork is the first step in his gubernatorial campaign. He says he plans to take his message "to every corner of the state" in the coming weeks.
