WABASHA -- The annual migration down the Mississippi River will be celebrated three weekends in November at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha beginning Saturday.
Hundreds of thousands of raptors, waterfowl and other birds migrate down the river valley every year.
Celebration events include guided boat tours, seeing Cody the Buffalo, and seminars on flintknapping and primitive technology, tundra swans and golden eagles.
The center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.
