The University of Minnesota-Rochester has caught the attention of a major higher education publication. The Chronicle of Higher Education published an article Sunday about Rochester's campus and unique curriculum.
University of Minnesota-Rochester launched its first undergraduate program, the bachelor's degree of health sciences, this fall. The program involves core classes intertwined in health subjects. The article, "Learning Goes Under a New Microscope," takes an extended look at the undergraduate program.
The Rochester campus is thought to be the first American research university to be created since the University of California-Merced in 2005.
University officials said in September that representatives of the publication had toured the campus and planned to do an article.
