State cultural organizations will gather public input about how to spend money from the state Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund during a listening session Nov. 16 at the Heintz Center, 851 30th Ave. S.E., Rochester.
The fund is a result of the Legacy Act constitutional amendment, which voters approved a year ago and which designates some sales tax revenue for the outdoors and the arts.
The listening session is hosted by the Minnesota Historical Society, the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Minnesota Humanities Center. Sessions are being held around the state. The Rochester session on Nov. 16 will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. An online survey is available at www.achfminnesota.org.
