Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts fanned out across the city Saturday in the first stage of the Scouting for Food effort.

Scouts will be visiting homes today with door hangers to serve as reminders that they'll return next week, Nov. 14 to pickup food donations. The donations can be left at the doors next week.

The food drive, an annual effort by the Gamehaven Boy Scout Council, collects food for Channel One Food Bank.
