Scosche's reviveLITE charger is an ideal tote-along for traveling iPhone and iPod users who want a quick and convenient but persistently-available AC means of charging their iDevices without the associated tangle of charging cables.

Scosche reviveLITE Platform(s): iPhone / iPod Touch; Publisher: Scosche; CDN Price: $39.99 U.S. Price: $34.99

Borrowing the shiny plastic aesthetic of all things Mac, the reviveLITE is an elegant, box-shaped thingie that jacks directly into an AC wall outlet. From there, a left-side arm hinges down to sit perpendicular, revealing a dock to mount an iPod or iPhone directly, no extraneous tangle of power cords anywhere. Just plop your iThing there and it will get the juice it needs.

The all-in-one cradle/plug comes with a number of adapters to accommodate several models of iPods and iPhones.

When it's done charging, just flip the cradle back up and the prongs back into a handy little recess and you're back to toting a small, no-snag, stuff-anywhere accessory.

The sturdy reviveLITE manages to support its own weight plus the weight of any model iGadget -- even the hefty iPhone 3GS -- provided it is plugged in properly. Scosche also integrated a frosted, photo-sensitive LED nightlight into the reviveLITE, which only turns on if it's dark, or not at all if you don't want it lighting up your hotel room when you're trying to sleep. A nice touch.

The Energy Star compliant, 120/240 dual voltage reviveLITE is available in traditional java black and arctic white.

Final Score: 4 (out of five)
