PEM 41, CANNON FALLS 20

Miller accounts for 24 points

ELGIN -- Third-seeded Plainview-Elgin-Millville rushed for over 300 yards and five touchdowns to eliminate the sixth-seeded Bombers.

Two PEM running backs finished with over 100 yards. Blaine Miller carried 16 times for 136 yards and three touchdowns, and Jack Ihrke had 141 yards on 12 attempts.

Miller accounted for 24 points, scoring on runs of 15, 8 and 17 yards, and also booted two field goals, from 30 and 26 yards.

PEM quarterback Clay Olstad got in on the running fun with eight carries for 51 yards and two rushing scores. He completed 7 of 18 passes for 89 yards. PEM improved to 8-1.

Cannon Falls had 225 yards in total offense but lost five turnovers. Brock Gobin was the top rusher with nine carries for 58 yards. Spencer O'Reilly completed 6 of 12 passes for 67.
