Two weeks ago, Rochester John Marshall knocked off Rochester Century during the Rochester Exchange Club Invitational volleyball tournament.

That victory avenged a regular season loss by the Rockets to the Panthers.

The rubber match of the season series is now set.

Eighth-seeded JM swept ninth-seeded Albert Lea, 25-9, 25-17, 25-19, on Wednesday at the JM gym in a first-round match of the Section One, Class AAA tournament. The Rockets will now face top-seeded Century at 7 p.m. Friday at Century High School.

The winner will advance to the Section 1AAA semifinals; the loser's season will end.

The Rockets (9-12) wasted little time in taking out Albert Lea (6-18).

Taylor Thompson led JM with 12 kills and 15 digs. She also had three blocks. Anneka Fallenstein had six kills, 10 assists and four blocks, while Kellee Rolbiecki added 12 digs and an ace.
