BLOOMING PRAIRIE -- Blooming Prairie used a balanced offensive attack to beat Fillmore Central in Class A, Section One semifinal action on Saturday.

The top-seeded Blossoms (9-1) had 250 yards rushing, 213 yards passing and five different players scored touchdowns.

"We had good balance, very good balance and the offensive line blocked very well again," Blooming Prairie coach Chad Gimbel said.

Blossoms quarterback Luc Zellmer was 15-for-27 for 213 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.

He threw scoring passes of 9 yards to Justen Ingvalson, 14 yards to Cooper Nelson and 7 yards to Luke Hueman.

Aaron Niles had 19 carries for 129 yards and a 10-yard TD run. Gabe Kartes had 10 carries for 104 yards and an 8-yard TD run.

Jayden Wilhelm threw for 135 yards passing for fourth-seeded Fillmore Central (4-6). The Falcons rushed for 76 yards.
