WATERVILLE -- Triton was able to muster nothing on offense. Defensively, the Cobras had just as much trouble, as it dealt with Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's diverse and smooth-running offense.

The result was a 27-0 loss to the Buccaneers on Friday night in the Section Two, Class AA football championship.

Triton was the three-time defending section champion. Its season ended at 8-3 overall.
