The Rochester Ice Hawks improved to 10-5 overall with a 12-5 win over the Little Falls Flying Aces in Minnesota Junior Hockey League action on Friday.
"We played a pretty solid game offensively for two periods," Ice Hawks coach Mike Fatis said.
The Ice Hawks scored three goals in the first period, eight in the second and one in the third. They put 59 shots on goal.
Korby Anderson scored four goals and added two assists
Sam Benson scored two goals.
Tyler Groth had five assists, Erik Ordahl three and Morgan Sanchez two.
Other goals were by Shaun Walters, Alex Campbell, Ryan Hurd, Alex Whitney, Dan McCamey and Matt Rucinski.
In goal, Jordan Yaggy played a "phenomenal game," Fatis said, stopping 45 shots.
"All in all it was a decent effort," Fatis said. "In the end you have to be happy about a big spread against a quality opponent."
The Ice Hawks play at Hudson, Wis., on Sunday, then are off until Nov. 27.
