Snack mix
6 c. original flavor Bugles
5 c. nacho-cheese flavor Bugles

4 c. miniature cheese crackers
1 6-oz. package miniature colored fish-shaped crackers
3 c. miniature pretzels
2 c. Crispix cereal
2 c. lightly salted cashews
3/4 c. butter-flavor popcorn oil
2 1-oz. envelopes ranch salad dressing mix
In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Combine oil and dressing mix. Pour over cracker mixture and toss to coat. Transfer to a large roasting pan and bake at 250 for 40-45 minutes, or until crisp, stirring occasionally. Cool on wire rack. Store in airtight container.

Rueben dip
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. Thousand Island dressing
16 oz. sauerkraut, rinsed and squeezed dry
10 oz. shredded corned beef
16 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
Caraway seeds (to taste)
Spray a medium crockpot with cooking spray. Combine all ingredients and add to crockpot. Cook on low until hot and cheese is melted. Serve with pumpernickel bread or wheat crackers.

Taco pie
1 to 1-1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/4 c. minced onion
1 - 1-1/2 packets Ortega taco seasoning (prepare with water as directed on packet)
1 pkg. Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 c. crushed Fritos corn chips, divided
1 c. sour cream
1 to 2 cups shredded cheese
Brown hamburger and minced onion. Season with salt and pepper if desired. Add taco seasoning and water and prepare as directed on seasoning packet. Flatten crescent rolls in a 9-inch deep dish pie pan to make a crust. Add 1 cup crushed Fritos. Add hamburger mixture. Add sour cream. Add shredded cheese. Add the other cup of crushed Fritos. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees or until crust is done.
Serve with sliced black olives, shredded lettuce, chopped green pepper, chopped onion, shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes and taco sauce.
