But they also cover kids 6 months to 4 years; pregnant women; children 10 to 18 with underlying illnesses like diabetes, asthma or other chronic conditions that raise their risk of complications; and caregivers of infants under 6 months.

• 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. today, Grand Meadow School

• 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, community room, Oak Park Mall, Austin.

Kids younger than 10 will need a second dose one month after the first.

Mayo Clinic in Rochester has limited H1N1 vaccine doses. Calls for appointments began at 7 a.m. today.

The appointment line would stay open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays until all appointment slots are filled, the clinic says. People with a Mayo Clinic patient number can call 266-0011 to schedule an appointment.

Previously, only patients under the care of a local Mayo family physician could get appointments. Now, people can get an appointment if they have a Mayo Clinic patient number and meet the one of the criteria below:

• Pregnant woman.

• Child 6 months to 18 years.

• Adult primary caregivers of child younger than 6 months old.

• Child age 9 and under who received a first H1N1 dose on or before October 31. Children 9 and under need two doses of H1N1 vaccine. The doses must be at least 21 days apart.
