ROCHESTER -- David A. Wiener, 47, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Saint Marys Hospital.
David Allen Wiener was born April 30, 1962, to Clarence (Rosabelle Barnes) Wiener in Detroit, Mich. After high school, David served in the Army. He was a hard-working man who held different jobs in Detroit and later in Rochester, including at IBM. David married Darlene Myers in 1985.
He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and playing bingo. He enjoyed life; but his true love was spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and many friends.
David is survived by his wife Darlene; his four sons, Charles (Jamie) Lennis of Rochester, Richard (Lindsey) Lennis of Newport, Mich., David Lennis of Rochester and Lucas Wiener of Rochester; his daughter, Tasha Wiener of Rochester; 12 grandchildren; his father, Clarence Wiener of Rochester; his mother, Rosabelle (Jim) Kramer of Southgate, Mich.; his brother, Micky (Heidi) Wiener of Rochester; and his sister, Susan Wiener of Southgate. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes Chapel. Visitation will be an hour before the service at the funeral home. A private family burial will be planned for a later date.
