NATO welcomes Obama's missile defense plans

NATO's top official says the alliance welcomes President Obama's revamped plans for a missile defense system in Europe and hopes to bring it fully into NATO.

NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen says the system Obama envisions, which is meant to defend the West against future threats from countries such as Iran, would provide Europeans and Americans with protection against a "real threat."

He spoke to reporters today after U.S. Secretary Robert Gates briefed NATO defense ministers on Obama's plan to reconfigure the Bush-era missile defense system.

Fogh Rasmussen said NATO will work with the U.S. to incorporate the system fully into NATO.

Does anyone realize that we are borrowing money just to pay the interest we owe to the Federal Reserve for our national debt. And now we are paying for the missle defense system to protect foriegn countries. Just to be clear the main country we will be shelling out money for to protect is Israel. The target of the new missle system is Iran.

Now get back to work peasants, other countries need your sweat and money!

Adding insult to injury, we’ve borrowed from foreign countries, while shelling out “foreign aid,” (bribes) to world class trouble makers whose mess we’re repeatedly obligated to clean up.

The military -industrial-banking cartel-complex has us by our throats.

How dumb is that?

This reminds me of the arms buildups(for defense, of course) prior to both world wars.

(Actually there never were two world wars...only one and it ain’t over yet!)
