• The Rochester Area Quality Council meeting topic Self-Defeating Habits of Otherwise Brilliant People, with featured speaker Anna Maravelas, founder of TheraRising Inc. will be held at Cardinal of Minnesota, 3008 Wellner Drive NE in Rochester from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $200 for members, $400 for non-members. The business model for the newspaper industry and for media companies generally are changing rapidly. Learn how a local newspaper in the age developed a commitment to customer service, continuous improvement and serving the community. The session will be led by Post-Bulletin Publisher Randy Chapman, Managing Editor Jay Furst, and Circulation Manager Todd Heroff. Registration, continental breakfast and networking are at 7:30 a.m., announcements and the program at 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m.. Continental breakfast is offered.
