Target.com offering $10 DVDs

MINNEAPOLIS - Target.com today announced it is offering pre-orders of this season's most anticipated DVDs at $10, matching recent Wal-Mart.com price cuts. In addition, the discounted pre-order DVDs will qualify for free site-to-home shipping.

"This holiday season, and every day of the year, we are committed to ensuring that our guests know they can find outstanding values at Target.com," said Steve Eastman, president of Target.com.

Romania's IMF loan frozen

BUCHAREST, Romania -- The International Monetary Fund said Friday that the it would delay access to a euro1.5 billion ($2.2 billion) bailout loan while the country struggles to set up a new government.

Speaking at the end of a visit to evaluate Romania's efforts to overcome its financial difficulties, IMF official Jeffrey Franks said the IMF could "proceed with the disbursement once the political situation is resolved."
