ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Rosella A. Scrabeck will be 2 p.m. Saturday at East St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Rock Dell with the Rev. Douglas W. Westerlund officiating. Burial will be in East St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Scrabeck, 66, of 2315 Park Lane S.E., Rochester, a homemaker, died of natural causes Monday evening (July 17, 2000) at her home.

Rosella Athleen Johnson was born Oct. 12, 1933, in Rock Dell, Olmsted County, grew up there and attended a country school. She lived in Milwaukee for a short time before moving to Rochester to work at Saint Marys Hospital. From 1975 to 1984 she lived in North Mankato and worked at Shari's Candies and Brown Printing in Waseca, Minn. She returned to Rochester 1984. In September 1961, she married Ronald H. Scrabeck and they were later divorced. Mrs. Scrabeck was a a lifelong member of East St. Olaf Lutheran Church and enjoyed crocheting and pets.

Survivors include a son, Lynn G. of Rochester; a daughter, Julie (Dan) Ondler of Oronoco; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; five sisters, Lorraine Molde and Marion (Romeo) Tlougan, both of Byron, Esther (Richard) Strike of LeRoy, and Ruth (Charles) Eickhoff and Elenore Friemund, both of Rochester; and a brother, Lewis (Jeanette) Johnson of Alexandria, Minn. A son preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the church from noon until time of the service Saturday.
