My name is Heather Wright. I own Tulips & Truffles Florist next door to the Castle (in a shared space with Scrub Your Butt Soap Co.). I have been in the Rochester area for six years, and have exhibited in group shows at the Rochester Art Center, group and solo Gallery 24 shows, have work at Herring Art & Frame, and am a member of Threshold Arts, with work in the Crate lending program. I have a BFA from the University of Minnesota Duluth, am a former member-at-large with the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council, past president of the Range Fiberart Guild, and have album art coming soon (July 11) with local singer-songwriter Megan Kleven's CD release.

I have worked in clay and spent 20 years in fiber arts. I do chalk murals, am currently working with watercolor and ink, and am a freelance illustrator, with a current book project based in the U.K. My current illustration and drawing/painting work takes inspiration from biology, physics, medical sciences, mycology, phenology, micro landscapes, textiles and macro photography, as well as artists such as Dalí, Bosch, Delaunay and Picasso. Some find my work unusual — often strange and other-worldly.
