The first play of the season, "She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms," opens Oct. 21 and will be delivered to audiences entirely online.

Riverland Community College Theatre Director Lindsey Duoos Williams directs the show.

On Feb. 24, the college theater will present "Almost, Maine," a romantic comedy about a quaint little town where over the course of one night, many residents will fall — sometimes quite literally — in and out of love.

That play will be directed by Susan V. Hansen.

The season ends with a pop musical adaptation of William Shakespeare's "As You Like It," postponed from the 2019-20 season. Williams will direct the show, which follows Orlando, Duke Senior, his daughter Rosalind and niece Celia, as they escape to the Forest of Arden and find acceptance. The show features an original folk-pop score by singer-songwriter Shaina Taub.
