Art on the Ave in Rochester's Slatterly Park neighborhood is returning this year — with a pandemic-friendly slant.
Instead of the normal vendor fair, the 501(c)(3) arts organization will hold a series of socially distanced art activities on Saturday, May 15.
Those activities come courtesy of Danaus Dance Art Collective, the Rochester Art Center, and Art on the Ave itself.

But far more of the festival will return — keep an eye on the org’s Facebook page for the music and food lineup as the date approaches.
And, as always, Art on the Ave will unveil a sculpture created for Slattery Park (at 9 a.m.).
Previous Art on the Ave fests have grown from 200 or so guests (in 2009) to upwards of 3,500 (in 2019).
See you there, art fans!
