Wits’ End Theatre and the Western Days celebration (Aug. 12-15) team up to present “The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy” during the first and second weekends of August.

The show represents the 50th time Chatfield’s Western Days celebration has included a musical production in the festivities — beginning with a variety show inspired by the television entertainment of the time.

“The Addams Family,” based on the iconic comic book and television characters, centers around Wednesday Addams’ foray into romance with a sweet young man from a respectable — read: normal — family.

A 20-member cast comprised of Wits’ End regulars and new faces has worked on the show since mid-June.

Tickets are available at http://www.witsendtheatre.org, or by calling Chatfield Center for the Arts at 507-884-7676.
