Individual tickets for the Rochester Symphony’s 2021-22 season are on sale now.

The season begins with "Art of Strings" (Oct. 16-17), a series of pieces developed for string instruments, at the Rochester Art Center.

It continues with "They Carried the Light" (Nov. 20-21), which honors health care workers, and "Sounds of the Season" (Dec. 11-12), both at Lourdes High School.

"Tchaikovsky: Beauty Out of Anguish" (Feb. 26 at the Mayo Civic Center) highlights the work of the Russian composer, as well as Florence Price, the first African American woman to have her work performed by a national symphony orchestra.

Finally, "The Strength of Us" (March 26-27) celebrates togetherness through the works of Copland, Schoenberg and Beethoven.
