Land Stewardship Project members will be in Washington, D.C. Wednesday through Thursday to meet with lawmakers on the state of agriculture.

The Campaign for Family Farms and the Environment is a coalition within LSP that sends members from Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota and Missouri to D.C. to discuss issues related to the farm crisis.

Renville County dairy farmer James Kanne and Todd County farmer Alan Perish will be making the trip, and will talk to the Minnesota congressional delegation, USDA officials and staff on Capitol Hill about the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, corporate agribusiness, affordable health care and more.
