The popular Chinese restaurant Hunan Express closed its doors for good on Friday, and its owners put it up for sale.
"It's unfortunately and sad to say but we like to inform that our door is closing as of 11/18/2013 and is on the selling market," reads a notice on its Facebook page.
The restaurant was at 1203 Seventh St. N.W., in the former location of the Hunan Wok Express, which closed at the end of May.
Hunan Express Galleria, owned by Bui Nguyen and Paul Huynh, opened in June. The name was a nod to Nguyen's former Galleria Mall food court restaurant called Hunan Express. Huynh was a longtime cook for Nguyen there.
