Knutson Construction wins outstanding company award

Rochester Area Builders presented its Cornerstone Award for Outstanding Company of 2010 to Knutson Construction at its February Networking Night on Feb. 22 at Tile Superstore and More.

Knutson Chief Estimator Mike Larson was on hand to accept the award on behalf of Knutson.

"Knutson has been a great supporter of Rochester Area Builders, Inc. and plays an equally important role in the community," RAB Executive Director John Eischen said. "The staff at Knutson volunteer their time for the benefit of the construction industry and we thank them for that."

Key considerations in awarding the Cornerstone Award for Outstanding Company are the company’s length of membership, the number of employees involved, participation of employees on committees and in leadership roles, as well as community involvement outside of Rochester Area Builders.

Knutson Construction has been a member of Rochester Area Builders since 2002, and Mike Larson was President of the association in 2010.

RAB, chartered in 1953, is a professional organization of commercial and residential builders, remodelers, developers, and associated businesses dedicated to advancing the building industry in Southeast Minnesota.
