ARDEN HILLS, Minn. -- Land O’Lakes is making guest Wi-Fi access available in the parking lot of its Pine Island location to area residents.

“As millions of Americans shift to work and school from home and increasingly look to telehealth for critical healthcare services, the urgent need for internet connectivity in rural America has never been so dire,” said Beth Ford, president and CEO of Land O’Lakes, Inc.

The public can access Wi-Fi from their cars at 206 Second St. NE in Pine Island. A portion of the parking lot will be designated for Wi-Fi users, allow the company to maintain its normal operations. To maintain social distancing, people should stay in their own cars while using this service.

The service began this week and is expected to last through the next six weeks, although it may be suspended or continued as circumstances warrant.
