STEWARTVILLE – A $1.7 million purchase of a Stewartville trucking terminal clears the way for a new name to roll into the area.
Ohio-based Dayton Freight purchased the former LME trucking terminal at 2472 Henry Road NW on April 1.
Dayton Freight, which acquired the terminal under the umbrella of Stream’s Edge Properties LLC, already has Minnesota facilities in Duluth, Lakeville and Minneapolis. The firm operates in 14 Midwest and southern states.
Rochester Realtors Leigh Ann Peltoma and Barb Phelps of Titan360 represented the seller, Integrity Commercial Holdings, LLC. Rochester-based Integrity is led by Jay Gay, according to state records.
The 5-year-old terminal abruptly went quiet in July 2019, when Twin Cities-based trucking firm LME unexpectedly shut down its operations.
Olmsted County estimated the total market value of the 9,700-square-foot building and property at $672,900 for 2021-2022.
