A Rochester church has found a new found in a former Med City martial arts studio.

Homestead Church recently began holding its services at 3004 Highway 52 N.

That building previously housed the Park Institute of Tae Kwon Do. In June, the Park Institute moved into a new space in the Gill Center One building at 3155 Wellner Drive NE.

As part of the transition, the United Methodist Church, led by the Rev. Aaron Justice, purchased the 4,800-square-foot building on June 1.

Homestead paid $1.2 million for the 50-year-old center and made a downpayment of $400,000.
