Butter Burgers are back.

A northwest Rochester restaurant is open again, after being closed for two weeks due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19.

The north Culver’s eatery at 3380 55th St. NW re-opened today. It had been closed since June 13.

“All our people are safe and healthy,” said owner Jeremy Scheel this morning.

Scheel and his wife, Kasie Scheel, closed the restaurant “to do what was right for our crew and our guests,” when one of the 76 employees at that location caught the virus. They continue to pay the employees during the closure.

The south Culver’s at 36 28th St SE remained open.

The Scheels acquired the northwest Culver’s, which is in front of Walmart in the Northwest Plaza, as well as the south Rochester one, in 2014.
