The Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce is adding seven new members to its board of directors.
The new members will take office in October and will serve three-year terms. The additional members will join the 25 members currently on the board.
The new members include:
- Christine Beech, executive director of the Kabara Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies and assistant professor of business at Saint Mary's University
- Teresa Czaplewski, public relations director and grief support specialist for Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes
- Anjuanna Napue, legal administration manager for Mayo Clinic
- Omar Nurr, founder and executive director of the Somali American Social Service Organization
- Sylwia Bujak Oliver, executive director of 125 Live
- Dave Pederson , attorney at Dunlap & Seeger
- Sharon Schneller, chief nursing officer at Olmsted Medical Center
“Their skills and experience will be an asset to the board and we look forward to working with them to serve our Rochester business community,” incoming Board Chairwoman Lizzy Haywood stated in the announcement of new members.
