Stewartville restaurant building sold in $1.15 million deal

The 14-year-old building at 1580 Second Ave. NW that houses Pizza Ranch as a long-term tenant was purchased by Orange City, Iowa-based GVS LLC for $1.15 million on Sept. 30.

STEWARTVILLE - A Stewartville restaurant building has a new owner in the wake of a $1.15 million transaction.

The 14-year-old building at 1580 Second Ave. NW that houses Pizza Ranch as a long-term tenant was purchased by Orange City, Iowa-based GVS LLC on Sept. 30.

State incorporation documents for GVS show its manager is Gilda White of Morris, Minn.

DTA Ranch Real Estate, LLC, also based in Orange City, sold the property. DTA, owned the restaurant since 2009, when it acquired it for $625,000 from Eastwood Bank. DTA is led by Mike De Boer of Fairmont, Minn., according to state records.

The property was originally built by Monte Beck , who launched Pizza Ranch in Stewartville.

Olmsted County estimated the total market value of the 4,500-square-foot building and land at $473,500 for 2021-2022.
