Constance Brekke and Roger Duane Harwick were married at East St. Olaf Church in Rock Dell on September 9, 1951.
They will be celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary this year at an Open House - Backyard Party on Saturday, September 10, 2011, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The location is at the home of a daughter at 634 Cortland Lane SW, Rochester, Minnesota.
Char and Roger have lived in Rochester, and are now retired. Roger was an electrician and Char was a teacher's aide in the public schools.
They have two daughters in Rochester: Debra Orris and Susan Watts, and two sons: William Harwick in Albert Lea, Minnesota, and Daniel Harwick in Savage, Minnesota. There are seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
