Notice is hereby given that the Olmsted County Planning Advisory Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019 in the Council/Board Chambers of the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester, MN for the purpose of considering the following petitions:
Olmsted County Conditional Use Permit #O2019-005CUP by People's Energy Cooperative. The request is for a 750 kW ground solar energy farm. The property's address is 564 50 Ave SE in Section 3 of Marion Township. The property is located o County Rd 11 just north of the Canadian Pacific Rail line 1/4 mile north of Highway 14 SE.
Olmsted County Land Use Plan Amendment #O2019-002LUPA by Kalmar Township to change the land use designation for approximately 77 acres of land located in the south half of the south half of Section 36, Kalmar Township, from Resource Protection to Resource Protection – Potential Suburban. The property is bounded by Country Club Road West on the south and County Road 104 on the east.
