WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute § 331A.03 Subd 3(b) allows a political subdivision to use its website or recognized industry trade journals as an alternative to disseminate solicitations of Quotes, Bids, Requests for Information, and Requests for Proposals; and
WHEREAS Minnesota Statute § 331A.03 Subd 3(c) requires that each year after designating publication on the Web site for transportation projects, the political subdivision must publish in a qualified newspaper in the jurisdiction and on the Web site, notice that the local public corporation will publish any advertisements for bids on its Web site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the County of Olmsted, Board of Commissioners hereby resolves that the calendar year 2020, the Olmsted County eGram website, and the Ion Wave website, will serve as alternative means to disseminate solicitations of Quotes, Bids, Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any dissemination by alternative means must be in substantially the same format and for the same period of time as a publication would otherwise be required under Minnesota Statute 331A.03 Subd 3(b).
