A report indicates that smoking is increasing in teen-agers at the ages of 13, 14 and 15. Additional evidence has been found that smoking is a risk factor in coronary heart disease.

Dr. Charles W. Mayo will be the principal speaker at a meeting to discuss “Inflation Is Your Business” at the Central School auditorium. The public is invited.
Twenty-six amateur boxers from southern Minnesota and the Twin Cities will trade blows tonight in a Mayo Civic Auditorium boxing card.

Bethel Lutheran Church held its annual meeting and reports indicate that the church is prospering and shows healthy growth. Rev. A. G. Hanson is the current pastor. (Rev. Hanson would serve Bethel church for 40 years and see the membership grow from about 150 to 2,400.)
