NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Notice is hereby given that the Olmsted County Planning Advisory Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021 in the Council/Board Chambers of the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester, MN for the purpose of considering the following petitions:
One-year extension to Text Amendment #O2020-001TA (Commercial Composting Interim Moratorium Resolution #2020-1) due to expire on July 7, 2021 to allow for commercial composting verbiage to be included in the County's Zoning and Solid Waste Ordinances; Solid Waste Ordinance currently undergoing amendment process by Environmental Resources.
Amendment to Olmsted County Conditional Use Permit #O2021-002CUP by Michael Sorenson. The Conditional Use Permit is an amendment to Conditional Use Permit #O2020-004CUP to increase the allowable square footage from the previously approved 32,000 square feet to up to 40,000 square feet. The property is located at 6435 Hwy 1 E, in Section 11 T06N R13W Marion Township. The property is near the Village of Chester on the N side of Highway 14 East.
