Beverly Haynes, executive director of Seasons Hospice, has announced her retirement, effective June 1, 2022.
Beverly Haynes started her career with Seasons Hospice as an on-call nurse providing home hospice care in August 1997. She transitioned in November 1997 to being the first registered nurse to staff the Seasons Hospice House.
She was promoted to executive director in 2009.
“This was, in many ways, a very difficult decision for me because I have grown up with Seasons Hospice, my children have grown up here," Haynes said. "I love this organization deeply and believe so much in our mission. But it was time for me to turn over the reins and let another leader make her or his mark.”
A search committee to find a new director has been formed, led by Corenia Walz, the Seasons Hospice Board of Directors’ president, in collaboration with Michelle Donahue, Seasons Hospice Human Resources director.
