David Anderson & Charlotte Rosvold were married 50 years ago on August 14, 1960, by the Rev. Merland Johnson at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lyle.
Since their marriage, they have lived in the Adams area. David drove school bus for the Southland ISD #500 for 47 years, retiring this past year. He still farms and enjoys going to auctions and restoring antique tractors.
Charlotte also drove bus for Southland for 37 years and was one of the first women to be hired to drive by the district. She also served as organist at Marshall Lutheran Church and played piano & organ for weddings and funerals at Little Cedar & Marshall and for area nursing homes for many years. She retired a few years ago and currently enjoys visiting with friends and spending time with the grandchildren.
David & Charlotte will celebrate their golden anniversary with their four children; Brenda & Terry Vrieze of Rochester; Scott Anderson of Adams; Rev. Kristen Anderson of St. Cloud; Kent & Linda Anderson of Adams; and their seven grandchildren; Katie Anderson of Austin; Garrett Vrieze of Kasson; Alex & Jacob Anderson of Adams; Colin, Courtney, & Brittany Vrieze of Rochester.
