Everett Andrew Breyer, 87, passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, surrounded by his loving family, at Prairie Home in Holmen, Wis.
Everett was born to Andrew and Ida (Huebner) Breyer on July 4, 1924, in Winona. He married Lucille Anne Kroener on Dec. 30, 1948.
He is survived by his four children and their families, Ellen (Rodney) Bolterman of Rochester, LuAnne (Gary) Ekern of Holmen, Jane (Joseph) Deml of Holmen, and David (Susan) Breyer of La Crescent; his grandchildren, Matthew (Katie) Bolterman, Sarah (Ben) Buhrow, Jenny (Brad) Ekern-Sternke, Erin (Justin) Connolly, Chad Ekern, Andrea (Tim) Winsand, Brett (Jacea) Deml, Jaimee Breyer, Nicole Breyer, Kyle Breyer and Derek Breyer; and great-grandchildren, Allison and Ryan Bolterman, Gabrielle and Gavin Buhrow, Khanye and Ty Sternke, Sam "Andy" Connolly and Wyatt and Maggie Winsand.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in La Crescent. Pastor Barbara Kopperud will officiate. Burial will be in the Prince of Peace Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Thursday, Nov. 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

Memorials may be given to Mayo Health System Franciscan Skemp Hospice, La Crescent First Responders, or Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
