Frances E. Morse, 95 of Austin, died Friday, July 29, 2011, at her family home, the same house she was born in and lived all of her life.
Frances was born on Jan. 29, 1916, to Frank and Clara (Fischer) Felch. She attended Burr Oak Country School and graduated from Austin High School in 1934. Frances was married to George F.D. Morse on Sept. 18, 1943.
Frances was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church where she belonged to the UMW. For many years, Frances was very involved and enjoyed her time working in the church nursery. She was a member of the Hoe and Grow Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant twin son, Charles; husband, George; and sister, Florence Peterson.
Frances is survived by her children: George (Kathryn) Morse, Austin, David (Patricia) Morse, Austin, Linda (Vic) Nerad, St. Ansgar, Iowa, and Kevin Morse, Austin; eight grandchildren: Dwayne Morse, Austin, Lana (Steve) Clark, Austin, Daryl Morse, Austin, Lisa (Jim) Carley, Altoona, Iowa, David Morse, Austin, Laura (Jon) Stroup, Rose Creek, Angela (Wes) Haugebak, St. Ansgar, and Brian (Karen) King, St. Ansgar; great-grandchildren: Caitlin, Courtney, Briana, Rebecca, Madison, Taylor, Avery, Audrey, Ruby, Josie, Morgan and Connor; nieces and nephews.

Casket bearers will be Dwayne Morse, Lana Clark, Daryl Morse, Lisa Carley, David Morse, Laura Stroup, Angela Haugebak and Brian King.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 10, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Marilee Benson officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church for one hour before the service on Aug. 10.
Memorials are preferred to the First United Methodist Church.
