Fredrick J. "Freddie" Fredrickson, 56, of Wanamingo, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home- Larson Chapel in Zumbrota, with Pastor Don Bakken officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Fredrick Jon Fredrickson was born Aug. 12, 1955, in Rochester, to Joyce S. and Colleen R. (nee Johnson) Fredrickson. He grew up near Wanamingo and graduated from Wanamingo High School in 1973. Freddie worked at Maple Island Creamery in Wanamingo for over 30 years and at Fil-Mor Express in Cannon Falls for a few years.
He was active in motocross racing and loved to ride motorcycles and snowmobiles.
Fred had a rich network of friends he enjoyed spending time with.

Freddie is survived by his parents, Joyce and Colleen of Wanamingo; sisters, Cindy (Tom) Shannon, Julie Blahnik and Rhonda (Dave) Canale, all of Rochester, Jill (Randy) Vicker of Maricopa, Ariz., and Kay (Eddie) Fredrickson of Ridge Manor, Fla; brother, Dale Fredrickson of Wanamingo; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Freddie will be sadly missed by his family and friends and his loyal dog, "Lucky."
Memorials are preferred to donor’s choice.
