A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Grace Griffin will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the Madonna Towers Chapel, officiated by Rev. James Russell. Friends may call one hour before the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Rochester.
Mrs. Griffin, 90, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011, at Madonna Towers in Rochester.
Grace was born in Duluth, on Sept. 20, 1920, to John and Agnes Mongeon. She married John Griffin on July 31, 1943, in Rochester. John passed away in December of 2003. Grace worked at the Rochester Golf and Country Club, retiring in 1988.
She enjoyed baking, reading, puzzles, playing cards and games.
She is survived by two sons, Gordon (Karen) of Richfield and Thomas of Byron; one daughter, Nancy Skanson of Rochester; and five grandchildren, Aimee, Peter, Nicholas, Brian and Michael. She was preceded in death by her husband John and son Gregory, two brothers and six sisters.

Memorials are suggested to the Skilled Nursing Unit at Madonna Towers.
Grace’s family extends a very special thank you to them for the loving care they gave to their mother and grandmother.
