Inez E. Reeve, 94, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at Samaritan Bethany Home on Eighth in Rochester.
Inez was born in Minneapolis, on Feb. 22, 1917, to John and Rhoda (Oman) Hendrickson. She graduated from Prentice High School in Wisconsin. Inez then graduated from Mound Midway School of Nursing in St. Paul. She was married to Everett Goetz from 1953 until his death in 1982. Inez married Gordon Reeve in 1989. She retired from Mayo in 1979 after 25 years of service.
Inez also volunteered at the Red Cross Blood Mobile.
Inez is survived by her husband, Gordon; two step-children, Brad (Mary) Reeve of Kotzebue, Alaska, and Karen Reeve of Anchorage, Alaska; one sister, Helen (Ted) Felser, of Winter, Wis.; nieces, Julie (Denis) McCaghey and Christine (Bill) Labelle; and a nephew, Daniel Felser. Inez is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Elmer and her first husband, Everett.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at Victory Baptist Church, 636 36th Ave. S.E., with Rev. Darrel Mohler officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.
