How we met: David and Pam Potter Langley, of Zumbrota, Minnesota, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Ann Langley to Caleb Knappe- Langworthy, son of James Langworthy of Superior, Wisconsin, and Patricia Knappe- Langworthy of Rochester, Minnesota. Lauren graduated from Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School, Zumbrota, Minnesota, in 2004, and from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa, in 2008, with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Art, Theater and Dance. Caleb attended Zumbrota- Mazeppa Schools through 6th grade, graduated from Lincoln High School, Lake City, Minnesota, and graduated in 2010 from Evergreen College, Olympia, Washington, where he studied agriculture and sustainability practices.
The couple, who knew one another as children, became reacquainted as adults when their paths crossed at Holden Village, Chelan, Washington, while they served the community through the operation of the bookstore and the food service. Currently, Lauren is employed at the Rochester Art Center, is a practicing artist, and operates her own business, DoneDotDesigns.
Caleb is employed by the Rochester Public Schools at Golden Hill, where he teaches students both the science and applied practice of growing food as an Academy Teacher and Garden Manager. A November 12th Wedding is planned at Camp Ehawee, Mindoro, Wisconsin.
