NOTICE OF INTENT TO ENACT ORDINANCE/PUBLIC HEARING
That on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at some time after 9:00 a.m. at the Olmsted County Government Center, located at 151 4th St. SE, Rochester, Minnesota, in the Council/Board Chambers or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Olmsted County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing to consider the following:

Enactment of an emergency temporary interim zoning ordinance pursuant to Minn. Stat. Section 394.34 to permit the County to study issues surrounding the location and operations of commercial composting facilities and biodigester facilities in agricultural and industrial zoning districts in unincorporated areas of the County.

Due to the federal, state and local public health emergency declarations regarding COVID-19, this public hearing will be held via electronically as permitted by Minnesota Statutes Section 13D.021. The following weblink www.co.olmsted.mn.us/ma will provide members of the public a link to submit written comments and questions as well as a Skype link to attend and participate in the public hearing remotely. Physical attendance at the public hearing shall be severely restricted due to COVID-19 health concerns for individual health and social distancing protocol shall be strictly enforced for those who still choose to attend in person.
